PCD 2015.1 - Why does it do that mysterious Changing Nominals?

Ok, first about me: Relatively new ( 2yrs) PCD user. But over 20years with B&S legacy; MM4, Avail, VM-300 and Datapage. Now, B&S 9-12-9 w/ PCD 2015.1 & Dp5+ W7 64bit & RC1. ( My 1st computer didn't have a hard drive - just 2 - 5.25 floppys talking back and forth , later the 2nd computer had a 40 meg HD. )

Now the question: Not using CAD ( yes I know what you are saying... but Not ), Why does the PCdemon love to play with my Nominals and Tolerancing ?

Specifically, I find it essential to ( after completing an inspection - sometimes 30 parts ) to go back over the inspection report to see if the demon has " fixed" any noms & tols. Nominals get themselves changed to " any old wacky thing" and tolerances reset to something more standard like the settings in the "Setup - Options - Dimensions" editor. Still, that's not at all useful. My work does not tend to have any standard tolerancing, so stating a standard tolerance is not useful. It comes from a drawing.
For the life of me, I have not detected what sets PCD off to do such a thing. It seems perfectly random. And on a report containing say 100 callouts, it can be a devil to spot, especially when you think you found all that could be. The only consistency I have found is the same ones tend to be " repeat offenders". And the error repeats itself consistently thoughout the data. Once stuck ( on - incorrectly ) it stays put.
Although the "editor side" of the page allows changes in nom & tol. it often doesn't actually " stick". The effective way seems to be " F9 the callout" and change it there.

Yes, PCDMIS is not user friendly. I believe there is a mindset that explains why that it seems that way. But it is a very large and powerful software that will take a long time to become familiar with all of its capabilities.
A deserved but unsolicited plug for SMAs - I have found the software support extremely helpful and ( with some searching) staffed with highly qualified personnel. You do have to do your part, so they can do theirs.
