Record time to discover bug in 2018 R1

Well, in less than 24 hours after upgrading from 2014.1 to 2018 R1 SP6, I have a bonafide softtware glitch. All of our programs include a script at the beginning that cues QC Calc to grab information so it can be exported to xcel. The script is canned and has been used in every program we have without any issues before now. I have attached the before and after screen shots of what happened to every program opened for the first time in 2018. Note the highlighted yellow areas and see that a loop start command has been added to the script. Never had that in there before and now it is in every program which means they all need to be modified. Not only that but C1 and C2 are operator input comments and the C2 one now opens with a blank page only. C1 is not affected and displays the text as it should. I have found that the only way to get display of the text content (job) to display in the C2 comment box is to add a character, or more to the text string. It does not like 3 characters; doesn't matter what they are it will not display. But if I add only one more such as (jobs) or (job#) it will once again work.
Didn't really think that I would run into issues that quickly after upgrading, but oh well.
