Very unusual Crashing

So I come back and a coworker tried writing a new program, and she created datums A,B,C. B and C were Cylinders, and they should have been Cones, simple enough. She named them as followed Datum_B and Datum_C. So I went back in and created the cones and called them Datum_BB and Datum_CC, until I switched everything over in alignments and constructed features and such. Everytime, I go to delete the Cylinders she created, PC-DMIS crashed. This happened 8 times in a row. Hmmmm..... So running out of options, I decided to try something, by simply renaming them CYL1 and CYL2. When I did this I was able to delete the Cylinders, and was able to rename my new Datums. Is this possibly some new problem with naming?
