Hi there Pcdmis users
I have an part that I try to measure as accurately as possible, I've tried different stuff but for mee it seems slowly to work like this, usually I'm a cad / cam user, hope you can help with some tricks.
Since the depth is over 120 mm, I have used a high force tp 20 probe with 60 mm shaft (which is the maximum on that probe) twisted the head 15 degrees in the A axis, then i reach far enough to measure all the circles. Then I have made a point for each twist (tip angle) (8 points) and put this together into a circle. Also used pattern to copy everything to 3 different diameters but measure in 6 places. (up and down on each diameter).
It is important for mee to get measured circlularity good, preferably 20 points. Also had an issue with the probe was not acurate enough so i bought an EM1 STD (se picure) and that helped alot, i can also measure from both sides, but that was not in my mind for the first time (only used pcdmis for some weeks, yes i am an idiot) .
I love the auto hole command, is there a way to use that to measure this ? I testet the auto wrist function but is there an auto tip function ? Else Is it possible with an star probe ?
Thanks for answears, sorry about the english.
