Cad coordinate system disappears once I make an alignment? How to fix?

Hi Guys, Running PCDMIS 2014. Why does my Cad Coordinate system disappear once I create my first manual alignment?

The Coordinate system is shown if I bring the model in first, but disappears once I make my first alignment. (only showing in the lower left corner of the graphics display window)

Is there a setting in the settings editor to always show me this cad coordinate system?
