Hey guys,
Fun little topic here. I know this depends a lot on the PC you are running and especially the version of dmis(x64) ect. We have a very decent dell precision series tower 5810 running 64bit dmis. It also has a SSD.
I am asking because I am working on a routine that is approaching the 1/2 million data points worth in the routine. It will probably end around the 400k mark. This was done on our machine by accident once and the computer would barely move. It took about 5 minutes to do anything let alone opening and closing the program which was probably 10 minutes of thinking.
I have 320 separate patch scans roughly 1k to 1.2k points a piece that I am extracting single points from.
Anyone have any suggestions to get around this in case this routine becomes too large to use?
