As of late we're starting to have issues with our CMM. The x-axis moves are very erratic and jerky. The machine seems to be moving quicker than normal during DCC operation. At times this is faulting out the machine with an overspeed error (TR_FG16e). The unit is bouncing so hard at times it hitting our work pieces causing errors. I'm no CMM guru and I've been placed into a job where I have to use this machine often. I plan on calling Hexagon next week for troubleshooting as well but I was wonder if anyone is familiar with troubleshooting this issue. The issue seems to go away for a while if the machine is powered down completely. After a couple days it begins acting erratic again. I know the machine has various parts like drives, regulators, brakes, etc. Is there any one thing I should be looking at by the sound of my description? Thank you.
