I've searched a bunch, and keep on seeing on the forum that ASME profile should report deviation as half of the profile tolerance plus/minus the deviation. Example .020 profile +/-.010 and if your +.002/-.001 it will show deviation and measured value as total of .003. But with ISO it's suppose to show 2x the max deviation so it would show .004. Can someone point me in the right direction to find how/why PC-DMIS reports like this and where it is located in the ASME Y14.5 and ISO specs respectively? I'm not saying anything is wrong or that I disagree with anything, I just need the digital documentation to show another software company that disagrees with PC-DMIS's methodology. Thanks
