checkbutton in form

Hi guys,

Does anyone knows how to have multiple checkbuttons in the form for one variable. Lets say I have a variable called "material" and have three checkbuttons "iron", "steel" and "copper". I have put three checkbuttons, but cannot connect it with one variable?

Also, where is the setting to have the checkbutton "unchecked" as standard?
