I've never had a profile reference on a print before. Suddenly, we have about a dozen prints with profiles referenced. All of them are on very slightly curved surfaces (i.e. 2' long by 1/4" wide parts with a 95mm radius). The demon, for some reason, gives me a 0.000 measurement when I try to get a profile.I've taken the surface in guess mode, as a cylinder, and as a plane. All with the same result. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is this a case where there has to be a cad model to reference back to?
As I've said, I have never had to use a profile measurement before, so I don't really understand how they work and what it is looking for. Any help in understanding what is going on would be a huge help. Thanks.
