Automating alignement on different parts mounted on the same fixture

Hello,

I'd like to know if I'm doing this properly.


I have a single fixture being used for several parts.
I made a program with manual and dcc alignment on the fixture only, and saved dcc alignment with its origin at a specific location on the fixture.

For each program, I made a CAD file including specific part plus fixture. I then shifted the part origin where I made my previous fixture origin.
I recall the previous fixture alignement and start my new part alignement from there.

Not easy to explain.

What do you think ?
