I have finally traded in my last TP2 probe for a TP20NI. After receiving it and installing it, I decided that I would read through the paperwork that comes with it and found out that the TP20NI is not compatible with the MCR20 probe rack. I have read on the forum that you can deactivate the probe trigger and it will work with the probe rack. However, I have not found any specific instructions on how to deactivate the trigger to make it work with the probe rack.
We do not actually have the MCR20 rack yet, but I was going to order it next week. I also was going to order a standard TP20 probe at the same time. So would it be easier to only use the TP20NI when we are inspecting parts that are magnetized (only about 20% of our parts have this condition) and use the standard TP20 for the rack only or is it simple enough to make the "NI" work in the probe rack.
