Hi to whomever is reading this post. I am having issues and Im wondering if its just me and my inability to figure this out or if its the lack of training I have had. So whomever has ANY good advice, please help me out. See Print attached. I have tried to create datum A on the top weld-tab surface (3 points) and datum B (2 points) on side of same weld-tab and then 1 point coming down on side of datum C weld-tab. My iterative alignment seems to work out ok, but when I try and hit some of the CMM points listed, they do not go as planned causing my profile to be way over limit. And I have never used target datums nor have I had training on how to go about creating one. Yes I know I'm a mess, but I am trying my best.
