Thickness dimension question

Hello, I have two parts with different thickness. To measure the thickness of 1st part, I set the workplane is Y-PLUS, turn probe 90B0, hit 1st point. Then, I turned the probe -90B0 and hit 2nd point. Measure the distance between 2 points is 0.043" along Z-axis, measurement is very closed comparing to digital indicator gage. After that I move the probe to work opn 2nd part. Hitting 1st point while probe still turn -90B0, then turn the probe back to 90B0, hit 2nd point on from part #2. Measure the distance and it shows 0.075" with along Z-axis. But if I change to X-axis, the thickness of the 2nd part is 0.050". which is closed to digital indicator gage. Please see below program. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
